I am an Assistant Professor (tenured) at Maastricht University, in the Netherlands, and Book Review Editor of the Italian Political Science Review. Before joining Maastricht, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Political Science of the University of Zurich. In 2019, I obtained my PhD from the Department of Government of the University of Essex.

​My research and teaching interests include comparative political economy, EU politics, political behaviour, experimental political science, and quantitative methods.
